bought a Eee pc from my friend thought it would be a good idea when i was out and about. put my tmobile dongle softwear onto it now saying my memorys vey low. is there anyway to add more memory. sorry for daft question not good with computers. * +

the dongle wouldn't do that as it uses little ram, so it cant be a ram memory problem, sounds like your mate left all his/her cr*p on the hard drive and there is little space left to install the dongle properly, try deleting a lot of the unwanted programs off it and try again * +

does it tell you there is limited hard drive space left or system memory low?
if its hard drive then see above. If its sytem memory, then you need to see if soemthing is hogging resources but then a lot of the eee pcs can be upgraded. the older Eee pcs with 512mb most of them can be upgraded. Even with xp you are much better off with at least 1GB. * +

In my opinion , ASUS should have stuck with computer componets and avoided making computers . They used to have a good reputation .
