I just had some updates to install after rebooting my system i loaded up firefox only to find a new addon had been added .. search helper extension .. which seemed to install bing in my search engine options . man ms have got some serious balls installing that on my system lol . * +

i have disabled it of course but does anybody know the hotfix number to uninstall it ? * +

hmmm found the update kb 982217 but dsnt show in uninstal an update option

and why am i still get updates for ie 8 when it supposed to be unistalled . 
which of course it isnt ms wouldnt really let me uninstall it would they * +

MS and others like to do that. Also check if you have old java toolkit extensions that FF has marked as unsecure. * +
