There is always a virus risk when you use flash storage or any type of removable media between multiple computers . Disabling autoplay helps . But you need up to date antivirus . Nothing is 100 percent safe , not even apple . * +

disable autoplay and be carefull that autoplay aint the main context menu entry when double clickin,better right click and choose open so u dont trigger autoplay manualy * +

A normal person would get an anti-virus. Get Avira and most importantly, a USB drive often carries this 'autorun.inf' virus which Avira doesn't pick up. It disables the file instead for safety reasons (how dumb). For that get Autorun Eater. Than get Zone Alarm. Leave all three on. Your PC is fully protected than. Always update your Anti-Virus though. * +
