If I understood you correctly , your tv does not have true surround sound just expanded stereo . The game console may give you better sound quality . You might see if can find an auxillary sound console that will support all of your stuff . * +

I know what problem is now bought cheap s**t home theatre kit that doesn't have hdmi or optical digital connection now going to have to take it back and get a different one *
