Why do some people argue that it's better to have a maximum RAM of 2GB on a 32bit OS whereas a 32bit OS can address RAM space of up to 3.2GB? * +

they dont realy but for simple sakes its to do with dual channel mode. 2x1 gig in dual channel mode or 3x1 gig in tripple channel mode works more efficently than say 3x1 gigs in dual channel mode. * +

the third stick on a dual channel pc will cause the other 2 to lag and can often force the pc back into single channel mode. tripple channel is for i7 setups... * +

so while the 1st and second stick s can read and write simultaniusly adding the thire means they all read and write singularly. thus tripple channel mode on the iz is more efficent. * +

I understand the fact that having large intensity memory with a slow read and writte speed doesn't slows down the performance. What about in case of having two memory banks on my Mobo Config where I can have 2x 2GB modules on dual mode and they still insist on 1x 2GB module on one bank? * +
