i got the Sapphire simply cos it was giving me the highest MHz and 2Gbs of ram for such a decent price (i think it was about 180 at the time). Had it almost a year, still powers through every game i play on it, but i think that's due to my monitor having a 1080p max resolution, it's not like i'm trying to push 2xHD through the card. I'll keep it til i've the money for a good dx11 card. * +

although the VapourX thing seems like a gimmick, it's one of the coolest running parts in my computer under load, and it's actively cooled with a rather quick fan. * +

its a perfectly good card m8, i never said it wasnt, it just dosent like overclocking to much. at factory oc it should run fine and run at decent temps just dont expect to much when you oc it above and beyond. * +

after all they are the top end of that series, unlike the bottom end that have been choped down and undervolted to make them cheaper, the high end is already pushing near the max, thus the low end cards will always oc in bigger percentages. * +

of course, i only got this cos i damaged my 4850 1gb by overclocking it lol might go for a mid range 5 series and just oc the beef out of it. *
