yep the reason they do it that way is that they dont supply you with an o.s disk but instead you can instll the o.s from the acer site via the repair disk, so basicaly you have unlimited and scratch free accsess to there vist download * +

that will analyze current system state and than look the web database for drivers which will again give no results and the method for connectin the web is usually buggy and does not support download resume which will end up with rippin u off if ur on slow network.. 3) it will lead you to a page containing what u need-an ad that links u to another ad,and another ad so u can visit all the adservers * +

be a better place and there would be less topics about askin for drivers.its really pathetic that own manufactor s site cant provide drivers for their own product or atleast get in touch with system manufactors like microsoft.. like this,it is a living hell,i barelly found a workin win7 driver for my kworld tv tuner card! *
