processor literally processes the data fed to it. RAM is volatile memory, in other words temporary local memory to store information and feed it to the processor as needed, it can be rewritten and read. ROM is read only memory, fixed function which is to store and supply data to a system. Cant be overwritten or changed * +

processor- brain..... ram- immediate, temporary memory/storage .......rom is pre-installed memory/storage from the factorry(firm ware) * +

or simple,processor is encharged for processing the data that is fed to it,ram is a memory used to store data temporary for quicker access usually to avoid non stop reading from the hard drive which is way slower than random access memory.rom is a read only memory which can only be read but not altered,cd/dvd roms and stuff * +

Rams sent data to your cpu cache. if your got slow ram and the data is not in the cache its looking for the cpu will go then look for it in your ram which means it will slow down from its clock to the bus speed that's for ones that uses a fsb. So slow ram is cr*p *
