open firewall with advanced security (type firewall in search bar) In overview u will have windows firewall properties. click to open. select inbound rules or outbound rules. Now u will get a huge list with app names. The app which have a green tick mark ate left has the permission to access net. right click on the app name. Select first option - disable rule. Now it is restricted. * +

remember to do the same for both inbound and out bound rules. restart. * +

In the same window highlight the app name (like internet explorer, opera, microsoft office etc) go to properties (second last in bottom right corner) In that tab in general - actions u have the option to allow and restrict network access. * +

There's a lot on that list and i dont even most of them eg Core Networking has 18 apps,file and printer sharing has 7apps,network discovery has 10 apps,windows-collaboration-media player-peer to peer all in total for windows 22 apps,wireless portable devices 4 apps and thats my out bound alone,how do i know which one to allow and which one not to? * +

use pctools firewall plus in expert mode and u get everything u asked *
