You might try the free version of Zone Alarm , but it is a pain to setup . * +

Zone alarm free is not compatible with windows 7 I think only extreme edition and win 7 firewall can do the same its easy to use aswell or you could use permissions to edit it * +

yes thers is a program you can use to stop applications. Tryhttp://www.revouninstaller.com/ there is an auto run function it. You can stop and start/delete things from there * +
