so i got attacked by a virus and it started killing my .exe. files. first notepad. don't know how wordpad survived. then adobe reader died then winrar, pc started getting super slow too. tried malwarebytes but it keeps finding some trojans even after i clean em. my combo fix is too old. but as it was exiting it said caution you may have a virut virus on your system. thats how i knew i got virut. * +

tried some other program too and it cleaned up alot but said i should get lpsd for the rest. avira got killed and i cant even install kav or kiss even in safemode. so from what i've read here about this virus, is my pc done for it or is there hope. i'm using window7 and i'm trying to avoid a clean install at all costs. does that sfc thing run in cmd work? to restore system files. * +

dear, i'm realy a new comer, n i wana know from the viewers that in such situations, can some1 just remove the infected hdd, install it as a slave hdd in a healthy PC, n scane it there 4 suspected virus/trojens/worms etc * +

i read that also works coz the trojan does not boot and from another bootable hard drive one can do a proper scan. and clean the hd * +

try linux liveseason. . and delete the virus directory IFyou where the directory is. . have done it with my friend pc. . work like charm * +
