Yea, got all the discs and that for it but the drive is bug*ered so can't do anything with it yet. Local shop getting a new batch in tomorow so should be sorted by then. Think it's ment to have xp on it but the guy who had it before must have wiped the drive and partitions then installed vista, probably why I got it at the price I did. * +

i have heard of this b4 my m8 has an apire that came pre installed with xp, he removed that and put vista on it and his dvd drive stoped writing, it may be a driver issue coz when he reinstalled xp the drive worked straight away. * +

going by the rocksupport site it can use vista and there are no reported dvd drive issues on there, so maybe its just a disk or drive issue(ie broken/old lazer). you need x8 + or - dvdr's x16 may cause issues (they do on some slower drives) *
