Each time I put in a new CD it says NO DISK IN DRIVE. The 750 MB CD I had in before has only 86MB and it won't let me add more files etc * +

CD's are 700mb. Where you get a 750mb from? And you can't add files to CD after data has been copied to it unless it says CD-RW on the disk. If the disc was copied with multisession enabled, just throw it away. * +

and you Drive may be cooked up thats the only explanation that I can think of. Just take it out, put it in a friend's PC and see if it reads than. If it doesn't, you know its broken. Easy as Pie. One more thing, invest in a 22x DVD-ROM its VERY VERY cheap. * +

You can add to a CD-R if it has not been finalized. You cannot remove/overwrite anything already written on a CD-R. Only on re-writable (CD-RW) * +

There is no CD+R. dont you mixed them with writeable DVD formats which are -R, +R and -RAM. note: the - in cd is a dash while in dvd it's a minus * +
