kapernit, you missunderstand. if your pc is infected with conflicker the the msmsrt will kill it. as long as its kept up to date it will stop your pc becoming infected by other pc's that have the same version of the virus as you killed, the reason it spread is because people did not update there windows ... * +

as for it being morphic thats a bit of a missnoma it may well be able to change a few bytes of code here and there but the signiture of the virus is known and does have variants but if it changed to much it would quickly become unstable and usless for the purpose it was created for. * +

conflicker or here better known as down ad up worm is the most dangerous malware ever created for windows and even if you do remove it,some of the other malware downloaded by it might stay,depends on your antivirus definitions and heuristics a bit.conflicker might be stopped but there are many ways to code a single program,infact maybe conflicker will start a whole new type of malware *
