however the effect of *changin* operating systems frequently,can be catchin a nasty virus if the systems u are using arent previously tested,though with official stable (not beta,alpha,rc etc)releaces thats unlikely to happen.as long as u know what u doin * +

othere than normal ware and tare on the hdd there is no adverse affects from constantly intalling. that hand having to activate windows if it needs it. but honeslty theres no real need to i have had win7 on my machine for 6-7 months now with minor infections that are easily cleaned with a good av and other anti malware apps. it boots faster than xp ever did even on a fresh xp install. * +
