hi gyz. Found a Wired prob on win7. I recently upgrade ma os frm xp to win7, on ma compaq 510 lap. Installed k-lite codec. Then tried to play dvd files frm hdd in win media player. But after playing few minutes it changes screen color then shows scrachd pic and last crashed and blinking black screen. Any 1 had this prob? On ma previous os i used power dvd7. Now i installed pdvd7 ultra, but when i * +

play dvd file frm hdd it shows green screen. Sounds ok but no pic just green. Tried pdvd8beta, it plays ok, here pics come but no sound. Then tried pdvd9, it cant play says need to update.... Any hlp gyz plzzzz? * +

you didnt had to install k-lite.win7 allready has builtin support for dvd and as i saw even quicktime mov.uninstall k-lite,if the image is green at some point,its most likely codecs,so uninstall k-lite * +

sorry. i can't play some files without it. So cant uninstall it. And found something...:D media player classic dont making any trouble. it can play dvd files frm hdd well. And @carta didnt upgrade video drivers yet. will dwnload today. * +

I neva installed K-lite but I exprience the green screen somtimes and even with Vlc it does happen. * +

smplayer seams to be the most stabile player out there.try that..though i dont know will it work on 7,i still have one configured for xp,ima probobly download one for 7 and see.or u can try a different codec pack,maybe windows 7 essentials as a desperate measure *
