So i watch this old movie, and i saw that the use a pay phone put in some cash record the tone n then wen eva u wana phone for free u play that sound is this possible, i also saw that they got a customize boot up window wer they got a pic there how can i do that * +

as majinga said you could do it with any ouch tone phone, bell anf a.t and t used to popular networks to phreak with hardware mods such as tone dialers, a little gizmo that you eneter the number into then hold up to the phones speaker and play into it, this would then cause the phone to dial. the old rotary phones u could depress the hanger and dial by tapping out a sequence, 10 depresses for 0 * +

and 1-9 respectivley for the other numbers, but this all changed when the uk networks moved to digital exchanges and touch tone became the norm. * +

there is still plenty of ways to get free calls especialy on cell networks but i would get banned if i went into to much detail, lets just say google is your friend phreak... * +

its a terrible film and its aged sooooooo badly that guy out of short circuit is such a poor villain, the special effects are more special needs, and i even saw an american git wearing a mid nineties arsenal goalkeeping shirt lol * +
