And what about some bool function? That returns true if the string parameter is found in html doc, and else returns false. * +

you mean a button to enable or disable image loading?you just need a variable or macro with a list of image extensions example .jpg .bmp .png .gif etc to create a plain content filter than send it as a parameter to the functions responsable for downloading from server.similar to how fopen works,you open the files you need,not the files you dont.or a cleaner way is to ignore img scr and other html * +

javascript etc,or even better,ignore the strings that instruct your program where the image file it needs to draw is,which will produce harmless image not found errors,also it would be nice that you add a function to refresh images from server and load everythin else from cache when the images are re-enabled,that is,the button is h*t again *
