Ok here's the deal, I've got 700 pounds to spend on a new laptop but at the same time I can get a MacBook pro for that money as well, any help/advice as to what you would do? My needs are surfing the net downloading lots of music and probably muvees as wdll * +

Oops! Wrong button! Anyway yeah downloading music and muvees, using music apps such traktor, fruity loops etc... And probably some light hearted gaming. So yeah any help/advice would be greatful thanks! * +

Yeah I guess I could probably get better spec laptop but the stableness and reliability of the MacBook is what is swaying me at the mo. Ok carta would you be kind enough to suggest me some good spec laptops for my price range? * +

if your gona be using it for traktor and fruity loops get the macbook . i use a macbook for my serato , has never crashed once . is rock solid when it comes to music software . trust me you wouldnt want to use a windows based machine for dj software . theres a reason the music industry all use macs * +

i think any windows laptop with windows 7 is more than a match for mac osx . * +

I see.... I do use music apps quite alot and would love to use logic pro on a mac but at the same time like carta said I would have alot more power to play with, with windows. Fudge man, I just don't know! * +
