My laptop keeps starting in safe mode ever since i played and installed a game from a disc. The game played in safe mode now i cant get it off safe mode. I have uninstalled the game, done a system restore and still it starts in safe mode. Anybody know how to fix this or what the problem may be? Thanks * +

ive worked it out went to control panel, nividia and changed the resolution settings. The game must of changed the settings * +

Was it safemode or a lower resolution. f8 or msconfig would have fixed it without restoring anything. But why would a driver that make a entry like that when your display driver don't even load in safemode? * +

It was not safe mode, it was just Low Res. But the application that you were running should have set it back to your normal Res on its exit. So I figure it's incompatibility issue. * +

yeah it must of been the game setting the scren resoluion lower and it looked liked it was in safe mode but wasnt obviously after 10 restarts and 2 system restores i worked it out *
