Hey pc guru's i have a question for all of you. Lol. I ve seen sometimes p55 motherboards and x58 motherboards. Whats the difference between those series? And which one is the newer?

P55 is the newer LGA1156 platform for core i7 7xx/8xx/5/3. X58 is LGA1366 for core i7 9xx * +

there both new they have a different socket and are aimed at different markets. both support i7 brands byt realy the 55 is i5 and the 58 is i7 the 55 is for the genral market the 58 is for the enthusiast/workstation market. * +
