im stuck on a choice on whether 2 go 4 a dx10 or 11 rig.. definitely gta be future pro0f.. bt the games im into are cricket, soccer and car racing.. nufn else reali.. its basically do i take a radeon hd 5750 or a 4850 * +

depends on your budget mate , ati 5770 is a good mid range card for under 130 pounds , has x11 and other cr*p that know one cares about , but plays games well ,thats all you really need to know , lotts of reviews online . go find some * +

57xx probably isnt fast enough to do a lot of dx11 effects although you are likely to buy one as 4850s are getting rarer * +

I'm also in this situation but I'm a GeForce man. I'm buying a 9800GT 1GB next month I just don't want an ATi in my PC. I hate those ATi cards. * +

it seems nvidia's foray into little features like physx is swaying more people than even i anticpated, although yet again, i must say that its a nice extra as is stuff like the water in just cause 2. seemingly insignificant but also tempting at the same time * +

Yeah 9800GT is old but its not slow at all whatsoever. I'll be shocked to see a 9800GT struggle to run a game at the moment, and PhsyX is not a marketing gimmick. PhysX takes off stress from the CPU yes, but the physics in the game are calculated using the laws of Physics, that is what PhysX is there for. If a drop of water falls, PhysX will make it as real as it can get according to real world... * +
