well its a choice. if you like film then yeah get the upgrade but if yer just playing games then 720 is fine. as the games will often play a little better. with less chance of slowdown * +

bitrates on BBC HD have been problematic on satellite. its disappointing that at the moment the technology isnt still quite there for HDTV broadcasts. give it another five years or so * +
