nope wouldnt go back to xp, although i found xp stable and functional it dosent support certain aspects of my pc properly. * +

may be some programs running at background,which causes reboot at shutdown......make an system restore........make an fresh install of your games and problem persists set compatibility mode to windows xp * +

niether have i had a bsod since i installed win7 and it dosent slow down as much as xp its been on for nearly 7 months and still boots in about 17 seconds (win7 ulti on a 1tb/250x2 500x1 hdd) where as xp took 35-47 depending on how full my previous 160gig hdd was. * +

same here running win xp for my server and running windows 7 for gaming still good but ive had the odd bsod but that was a driver issue but still good *
