hey ppl. Having a wired prob and beging for help to u. I use internet in ma laptop via phone. Ma phn is nokia e75, laptop compaq 510- 2.0 c2d 2gb ram xp professional sp3. Use a lot of downloader and file sharer. Prob for few days. I can connect to internet but cant brows sites. I use firefox mostly. When i hav this prob i tried IE, it gave me same result cant connect. Then i tried IE: (no add ons) * +

that u can find in startprogaccessories. And wierd is it can open all sites where other browsers can't open any. Then i disabled some addons on fire fox includ kav url checker(btw i use kav as ma only protection) it worked, and ff can open all site. But frm yester day none of the browser is working:( with limewire i can download files. I think its a firewall prob, but cant find out how to fix. * +

btw its happening after i installed MS security essential and also installed hp essential security updates for xp. I unstalled them both bcoz after updating MS security essential, it was blocking all ma downloader. I also turned off windows firewall but it didnt help:( and ma kav is not upgraded bcoz of ma slow net connection i cant update it, it stopped after 15-20. Any idea?? * +

should i install kis? Can it replace windows firewall settings? And frm ma connection manager i see more net usage then i used. And alo had aprob wins automatic update. It updated nearly 20 percent and prompt me to restart ma pc, even i am not connected to net? Any1 had this kind of prob? * +

owoo... i hav just installed netscape navigator. It works fine. Seems like my old browsers are blocked. Gonna try something else. Let u kno if something good came out, so u can help urslf if u face this :D * +

aaaahh. at last find out the prob. Its kav that was blocking me. I stopped running kav and all ma browsers r working. cr*p, now i hav to find another antivirus. *
