the entry mode of a system into 32, 64 , 128 bits etc is not really defined by the bios. thats the work of the bootloader although some bios manufacturers may just want to add some new fancy features am sure not all BIOSs have that option but are able to boot into 16, 32, 64,128 bits as per the directions of the bootloader. * +
