Yeah sorry its intel core 2 duo processor, ram is 2 gb ddr2, hhb 250gb windows vista home premium. I am a notice a these kind of things. It seems to work fine for about 30mins then just crash for no apparent reason * +

Do you have a CPU temperature monitoring software? If so, tell me your CPU temp in Degree Celcius. Do you hear your CPU fan spinning? When did the problem start? What software had you just installed before you noticed the problem? * +

Yeah fan is spinning and downloaded nothin only use it for course work only thing i ever downloaded was iplayer about 6 month back and it started about 5 days ago when we it just crashed * +

check your event logs, under application / for an app crash or system for s sytem/driver fail. * +

The most probable cause is a runner(virus) that attaches itself to system processes. You may need to re-install your OS. But firstly scan your system with an up to updated Anti-Virus. Set your Scan type to THOROUGHLY or DEEP depending on your Anti-Virus. * +
