Can any 1 help me with this problem after any sound is played from the desktop and evan video from you tube and also turning skype off a few seconds later i get a faint popping sound from my laptop speakers iv tried updating the drivers but it says they they are up to date iv evan turned the desabells down on the mic thinking it could be feedback and that made no difference to it * +

download drivers on support page . windows update is rubbish for updating * +

I went into device manager and clicked on the sound and updated it there but it said its got the latest drivers installed already * +

uninstall the drivers and get the motherboard specific 1s, find your motherboard with cpu-z * +

my altec lansing speaker system does it, they turn themselves off when the sound file playing has finished to save power, it might be the same thing with yours * +

It plays sound fine its just after a few seconds after any sound you here a faint pop * +
