Hey guys i finally got 7 its home premium. Running smoother than xp on my machine. I wanted to know what essential softwares is needed for keeping it error free. I have ccleaner, defragler, tune up utilities, registy mechanic. If any of these are bad let me know and i will remove it. * +

I have also tried many anti malware and anti virus programs. Which ones should i install to 7. Bitdefender AV 2010, MS Security Essentials, Asquared Free, Malwarebytes. * +

Norton if u have more than 2gb ram other wise A.Squared * +

avira antivir 10 is reliable antivirus. just use ccleaner an tunep utilities is enough. if u use registry mechanic or others utilities sure its wasting ur time bcouze tuneup is complete,there is disk defrag feature too.if u use more than 1 av or utilities it will cause conflict on ur system * +

i only use avira.. and recently i added malwarebytes to see how it performs.. i figure avira is second to a squred and since malware bytes is similar to a squared but different at the same time, they'll complement each other well. ccleaner is all i need for da rest. so all i have is ccleaner, avira 10 malwarebytes which is just an extra malware tool. anything you add ontop of that is unnecessary * +

cant recomend tuneup as its turned into bloatware in the 2010 version * +
