hii guys. I m creating a vb project. in vb6.0. their is a login screen. in this user enters username and password. that entered data is checked by database. i managed to make the project connect with access database . but cant get it connectd with sql database. can u help..ill upload my project part of login screen.. * +

are you using your own server? has them files look like there extracted mysql files * +

when i tested mine the extracted mysql files look very simular and need to be put in a folder then put in the mysql file then they will be visable to see in the mysql database * +

may seem very confusing for a newbie but does work it gets abit annoying thou so dont like to get in to too much detail maybe raider.1 will shed some light has hes good with these kind of things ask him mate * +

you should code a module which will connect your project to the database. eg Option Explicit * +
