right click on toolbar then unmark lock toolbar.the taskbar will follow if the toolbar hide automaticaly * +

or u can use 3d cool desktop. it will allow u to run 6 desktop window on one time. then u can running many programs on 1st window and empty programs on others window. as compiz fusion 3d on linux. try to find by type compiz fushion on youtube * +
