so dont be afraid with other brands beside vaio. asus release not only low but also high quality eg asus g51jx with core i7 720qm 4gb ddr3 nvidia gtx 260m 1gb 500gb hdd, or maybe toshiba with qosmio x505-q800 core i7 720qm 8gb ddr3 nvidia gts 250m 1gb 320gb hdd * +

@nanang i don mind all those brands... but as bo0td said, carta gave links for 'better' laptops . one of them was PACKARD BELL Easynote. lol Wonder wot makes it better than sony. * +

@Mayday, The Easynote has a faster processor, 1GB more RAM, twice the HDD storage, better build quality and customer service which is far better than Sony provide. It's a better laptop than my HP which cost 200GBP more than that 2 years ago. * +

brands are exactly that...brands...i think that quanta are the ODM for both Packard Bell and Sony but i may be wrong *
