Hi Every1. I'm hoping this post will grow, allow us to share thoughts, ideas...links and more. I know some leechers will crush it but i'm sure the mature one's will see the point. This is what I have in mind, I've got 4 old Hp Laptops, 1.6Ghz CPU, 512 Ram to name a few... now I wanna set up a Terminal Server using Ubuntu 9.10 and FreeNX (this is the how-to http://is.gd/aZP6R) and run those laptops *

as thin clients. 1st question is how powerfull should my server be? These clients will only be used for browsing the net, accessing some samba shares and probably word and excel but they have to be able to do this simultaneously. What other hardware will I need either than the laptops, server and switch perhaps? I also wanna be able to connect to the network (server to be more specific) remotely *
