had a few probs with pc so thought i would system restore, but when i tried a message came up saying system restore has been turned off by group policy . to turn on system restore contact your domain administrator ive not a clue what this means or why system restore wont work has worked fine in the past , can anyone explain who my domain administrator is * +

never come across this before. is said pc connected to a network? Are you logged in as admin? Have you tried it through safe mode? * +

After Reading that, I'd say it's unlikely you have any restore points to restore to. * +

i think i have spyware which is stopping it working ive run spybot twice but it doesnt seem to be getting rid of it, something called refpr*n, another called pws.LDpinchIE anyonee know how to get rid of these ? thanks * +
