I hav windows xp. I noticed that ONLY for installing the service packs it takes like 45 mins to install (the pack was on my hdd) where before it use to take like 10mins max. Also another note xp cant detect the onboard sound card since recently. I had to dwnload a file like a servicepack thing bt it was less than a mb. Then windows detected it. * +

Could it be a change of those sata ports to my hdd? My hdd is on sata one and my dvd drive is on sata 3. * +

defragment ur hard disk and use ccleaner before u do the defrag to get rid of junk * +
