u cant get a windows for slow comp now coz, xp no longer come to market now, nd vista nd 7 needs atleast 1 gb of ram dat means dey will make a slower comp to freeze , u can stick to xp ,if u hv one, or jump nd grab a free linux distro * +

Use debian, ubuntu. Its a pain in the as* to configure properly but it works way better than windows on my old athlon 2500+, 512mb ram. Eclipse IDE, a few heavy web apps, a game running in background works way better than in win xp :) * +
