motherboard drivers, gfx drivers, audio drivers are all needed on a fresh install. use cpu-z to identify the motherboard then go to the manufacturers site and see if its supported in your new o.s. (not all are) get all relivant drivers for all the hardware b4 you uninstall the old o.s. then put them on a dump stick,and then your ready to rock and roll. *
