Some of my avi's on my pc loses there colour and go black and white at some times in the movie and then it gets the colour back is there anyway to fix this or s it a problem when the movie was converted to avi from dvd? * +

You probably have a Screening purpose movie file and not a Retail. * +

@pw Is movie when played through dvd works fine ? If original file is like that you mention and ofcourse result be same as you mentioned * +

yea i think its how the avi was encoded coz i have across such files many moons ago. so based on my understanding thats just how the dvd is and you cnat change it unless you buy the video/film/clip. * +
