Hi, some lady brought her flash drive to me. She is a teacher and she would like to prepare some of her files for an upcoming exam. Her flash drive was infected with a couple of virusses. They changed some of her .doc files into .scr (Screensaver) format. Now I am wondering is there any way to save these? As they keep getting put in quarentine. Using nod32 updated * +

If you did scan that flash with Microsoft Security Essential, all documents would be saved. I figure Nod32 as problematic in file rescuing, it actually delete/quarantine a file together with an infection * +

if u open word the virus super hide the documents i.e it converts them in2 system files.so u have 2 go 2 folder options n uncheck hide protected OS files. * +
