Hi i have been tryin to fix my friends laptop by reinstalling windows 7 bur i'm not having much luck, normally i just get an error code or sometime a file missing, yet the Win 7 Dvd works on my laptop and desktop! * +

I have managed to install windows 7 twice but no luck loading the os once installed.. I have manages to install xp once but when i restarted the laptop it wouldn't load, just kept Restarting itself over n over again.. * +

I cant rememer from the top of my head.. I'll try again tomorrow from a new install disk! I'll write down any errors.. When she first gave it 2 me when turned on it just gave me loads of white writing on the screen n this would repeat itself over n over for hours if i let it, it dose that now with no os on it, ive formatted the Hdd ecery time ive instalked a fresh is but still no luck * +

On xp it was an internet explorer file missing, yet i know the disk works fine * +
