well i got this purple blue vertical line on my LG plasma tv.. I noticed it abt two days ago.. It runs from top to bottom of the screen and its abt 2 pixel wide.. What cause this and anyway to fix it? Its more visible on bright colours.. * +

i've googled it and some people said because of bad wiring or short circuit.. i only have my dvd, amp and ps3 to the tv so i dun think that's the prob.. Google also says that might be because of the ribbon cables .. well this problem i believe is notorious among plasma tvs and google have so many answers and so many reasons on why it happened.. anyway, thanks for ur help.. plasmas dont suffer the same way as crt's crt's suffer distortions because the cathode ray is bent by magnets. plasma screens dont have cathodes. * +

the screen works on a grid of wires rite? sounds like u lost a couple of them wires, good luck gettin it fixed probly cheaper to go buy an lcd * +

Spartan put a magnet next to your plasma. Everything electrical got a magnetic field duh. But s**t aside 4juice put it on its face for a while then see wot happens. Sounds like the ink is leaking * +

Try this switch off the 4:3 override on the set and see if it still is there * +
