Run any windows game on linux using cross-over. some games like max payne run faster on emulation on linux than they do on native windows.this is because the games were made on linux and later ported to windows but microsoft pays the game companies so that linux versions of the games will not be released. http://www.codeweavers.com/products/ * +

i know you can do the same with WINE which is free but cross over is way better performance than wine.you ll have to part with a small amount of money but it will be worth it. also its not about games only, it supports others windows based applications as well. THEY WILL RUN FASTER ON THE EMULATOR ON LINUX THAN THEY DO ON NATIVE WINDOWS * +
