i removed the bios battery today to clear the cmos now when it boots up it shows a logo of the Pentium 4 Extreme when its spose to be a pentium 4 ht whats causing this? * +

By removing a CMOS battery, you clear it and the default BIOS Settings are loaded in your CMOS. That means the extreme settings are the default ones and you should be able to change it in BIOS Setup. * +

theres nothing in the settings regarding that has its orignally a pentium 4 HT not a extreme * +

i think what ur talkin about is the splash screen that covers the p.o.s.t, u can turn it off in the bios options * +
