I have oem dvd of windows7. But wanted to know whats the difference between oem and retail version of windows7 ? If wE BUY retail copy it cost a person almost huge bucks y is it so ? *

oem original equipment manufacturer oem is discounted if you buy hardware you can save on retail version but basically the same *

not the same at all, with the OEM version of 7 you can register it only to your current motherboard, with a retail you can install it onto different pc's *
