sonic i was talking about a next time. You cant change the drive letters. It happens when partitions are used for dual booting not drives. If the locations for the installations are wrong you can change it like i said above * +

xp and vista's bootloaders are different. Xp cnt boot on vista's and vista cnt boot on xp's * +

I might not have understood u,but when vista came,i had xp on C and simply installed vista on D,i had to do nothin to dual boot,it worked perfect * +

No its not partion problem. Ok let me clear it again. When booted in vista. And when installing app in it the software is installed in programs folder of xp. Yup changing installation location can be helpfull but still some files get moved to xp folder . Its has become matter like married to two women and having a girlfriend. * +

Ok just know did the whole cleaning . Installed win7 and xp. On his pc :) everything is fine *
