normaly when an oc reaches critical temps the hardware will throttle back, does the whole system hang? or does the card just gray screen for a few seconds? does it artifact(put rubish on screen) you have run gpu-z and set it to measutre your temps while ingame? are you using win7 rc? * +

games hanging can be for lots of reasons, have you checked the event viewer? * +

i wouldnt bother to much about the make its an old agp card that she dosent understand (read her other topics) chances are shes damaged it just because the core temp isnt critical dosent mean that the mem isnt overheating (theres no senser on that so u wouldnt know if it did overheat, but luckily there is a simple solution if it is hardware related and thats attach heat syncs to the mem chips *
