My external 500gb says the drive is full but i still got 150gb free space? * +

not all drive's or software work like this but i have had it before '' there is a maximum amount of files allowed in each folder or directory'' maybe its your problem * +

No it gave me the full error after deleting alot of files and trying to copy just one back on * +

i read something about the limit and that deleting does not remove the entries from the filesystem. You may have to format it.

ok then right click on it again then use the drive cleanup function. reason i asked coz explorer shows the partition while drive manager show the full hdd. also get combofix and run it. you might have something nasty hiding in your ram. it will remove any bug*ers for you in ten minutes * +
