modern processors have more levels of cache to speed smaller fetches. Core 2 is getting a bit dated now however, you would be better off with a Core i3 or a phenom 2 with DDR3 memory if its within your budget- these are dual core processors. * +

yup you can go with i3....it costs you 130 dollars while c2d costs you 113 dollars,i3 got 6 mb cache,c2d e7500 has the cache of 4mb * +
