can some1 tell me how to do a factory default reset on my toshiba l450d because when i try to watch a video clip full screen all i get is the sound but the screen seems to be cut in half from top rite corner to bottom left and each side of it is in dif colours and no pic sob sob * +

it plays dvds ok but say i go to sports page,play video.it plays but get that strange screen when i try to play in full screen * +

You go to sport page?so this happens online? If it plays dvd's okay then it must be the online video,check the settings. * +

dont seem to mater what online i go to play the link. only started doing this today and i've not changed the settings * +

if this also happens on offline videos than u might need to (re)install codecs,also try mplayer,a standalone player that requires no codecs. *
