I remember when i first had my pc i would turn it on/off and the monitor would turn on/off together but now i have to turn them on separately.anyone might know why? *

Try reinstalling or updating your graphics driver. *

the monitor has a seperate power supply. your old 1 probably got its power from the pc. *

But is not an old or new monitor It's the same that i bought with my pc i haven't change neither the monitor nor the pc.and yes the monitor has different power supply but before it used to turn on/off together with the pc. *
